DINING SERVICES SUPERVISOR
Scope of Work:
Individuals assigned to positions in this job family are responsible for supervising food service activities.
Examples of Duties:
- Plan menus to meet established dietary requirements
- Order supplies and equipment
- Ensure maintenance, sanitation, and safety standards
- Maintain inventory records system
- Direct the work of food service support personnel
- Evaluate food service operations activity to insure effective and efficient methods of operation
- Attend meetings
- Communicate with other staff members
- Plan and direct special events
- Provide input to budget planning and preparation
- Supervise, schedule, evaluate, train, and assign the work of subordinate staff
Minimum Qualifications to Enter Family:
Requires high school diploma or GED and food service experience.
