analysis documentation)

Scope of Work:
Individuals assigned to positions in this job family install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical/electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment following the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other applicable standards and specifications.
Examples of Duties:
- Install and maintain secondary distribution systems, building wiring and lighting systems
- Install and connect power supply wiring to and between machines and equipment following manuals, schematics, blueprints
- Test malfunctioning equipment and repair or replace faulty wires, cables, or electronic components
- Repair electric motors
- Work from building plans, blueprints, drawings, and the NEC to plan and lay out electrical circuits for safe and proper operation
- Order materials and supplies for electrical jobs
- May supervise employees performing similar work
Minimum Qualifications to Enter Family:
Requires high school diploma or GED and licensure, registration or certification as required by law.
Exception: The employing institution may substitute directly related
work experience or education for minimum qualification requirements with
written justification.
