Scope of Work:

Individuals assigned to this job family perform activities associated with production processing of information.


Examples of Duties:

  • Set up machines to perform functions as needed
  • Process information to include editing and/or modifying as required
  • Record, store, file, and recall information as needed
  • Coordinate with users to determine the format and layout of documents and to enhance utilization of systems and related equipment
  • Key, edit, combine, and print material from rough draft, corrected copy, recorded voice dictation, or previous screen-displayed version
  • Check completed documents for grammatical, spelling, and format errors by using software and proofreading; correct errors
  • May perform in a leadworker capacity

Minimum Qualifications to Enter Family:

Requires high school diploma or GED, and directly related work experience.


Exception: The employing institution may substitute directly related work experience or education for minimum qualification requirements with written justification.
