Scope of Work:

Individuals assigned to positions in this job family supervise functions associated with a bookstore, residence hall, institutional dining service, student center, game area, and laundry facilities.

Examples of Duties:

• Analyze, control, and maintain inventory and adjustments to vendors
• Develop merchandising/marketing plan
• Maintain customer relations
• Prepare and maintain records and reports
• Provide advice to students, student organizations, and resident hall activities; may take disciplinary actions regarding minor problems
• Develop, recommend, and implement changes in operations regarding new program activities, price structure, etc.
• Recommend purchases or replacements and order supplies, products, and equipment as required
• Monitor quality and efficiency of operations
• May supervise employees performing similar work

Minimum Qualifications to Enter Family:

Requires an Associate degree in a related field.

Exception: The employing institution may substitute directly related work experience or education for minimum qualification requirements with written justification.
