Scope of Work:

Individuals assigned to positions in this job family provide technical support to aviation functions.

Examples of Duties:

• Schedule, dispatch, invoice, and track aircraft and simulators for training and maintenance
• Maintain, inspect, and repair aircraft and their related systems and components
• Move, spot, secure, refuel, service, wash, and clean aircraft
• Operate and inspect trucks and tank fuel systems
• Meet and direct aircraft traffic on the ramp
• Design, develop, maintain, calibrate, repair, and test various electronic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical instruments
• May supervise employees performing similar work

Minimum Qualifications to Enter Family:

Requires an Associate degree in appropriate field, and licensure, registration or certification as required by law.

Exception: The employing institution may substitute directly related work experience or education for minimum qualification requirements with written justification.
