Scope of Work:

Individuals assigned to positions in this job family perform medical services for patients.

Examples of Duties:

• Observe nursing care of persons experiencing changes in their health processes
• Administer prescribed medication and treatments
• Teach and evaluate health practices of patients
• Provide specialized nursing care
• Take x-rays, process films, and evaluate exposed film
• Maintain all radiographic equipment
• Set up and administer EKGs as ordered by physicians
• Calibrate equipment
• Prepare department budget
• Develop outpatient radiological programs for external customers/clinics
• Implement radiological standards.
• Maintain records
• May supervise employees performing similar work

Minimum Qualifications to Enter Family:

Eligibility for licensure, registration or certification as required by law.

Exception: The employing institution may substitute directly related work experience or education for minimum qualification requirements with written justification.
