Scope of Work:

Individuals assigned to positions in this job family are responsible for managing institutional food service and bookstore operations.

Examples of Duties:

  • Plan, develop, and manage the operations of a bookstore or an institutional food service program
  • Prepare work schedules
  • Formulate pricing policy
  • Maintain adequate inventories of products and commodities
  • Design and coordinate product promotions
  • Provide necessary controls to ensure proper standards are maintained
  • Provide customer service
  • May supervise employees performing similar work

Minimum Qualifications to Enter Family:

Requires a Bachelor degree in a directly related field.

Exception: The employing institution may substitute directly related work experience or education for minimum qualification requirements with written justification.
