Scope of Work:

Individuals assigned to positions in this job family perform administrative, management, or professional duties associated with a variety of programs or functions such as: aircraft dispatch, payroll administration, traffic and transportation management, program coordination, human resource management, purchasing, records management, printing center management, fund development, legal advisement, and research.


Examples of Duties:

  • Fiscal, human resource, budget, purchasing management
  • Legal advisement, defense preparation, research, policy review
  • Procurement of commodities, products, and services, and management of inventory and warehousing activities
  • Manage non-engineering transportation related programs
  • Manage fund-raising efforts
  • Plan, organize, and direct human service programs
  • Conduct and manage research projects and provide specialized training services
  • Manage centralized printing services
  • Provide comprehensive records and forms management services
  • Plan, develop, and monitor budgets
  • Participate in planning agency goals and objectives
  • Develop, implement, and maintain records management programs
  • Provide advisory services to management and administration
  • May supervise employees performing similar work

Minimum Qualifications to Enter Family:

Requires a Bachelor degree with a major in business administration, accounting, or a related field; or two years of college and three years of directly related work experience; and licensure, registration or certification as may be required by law.


Exception: The employing institution may substitute directly related work experience or education for minimum qualification requirements with written justification.
